English language challenges

Hi everyone,

Sad truth is that i never like english since primary school u.u , ( Sorry Benjy) i think that i always was nervous to spoke in public ( spanish or english but in english always i suck) And it is a globalize truth that  learn english will open doors, but i hate that fact haha i always wanted that the school have programs to other languages but always is english i felt it is something imposed to me. And maybe that is was i haven't tried hard enough. But i love blog classes hehe, i think that it is the part most funny of the english program and it is nice to read other blogs and comment to partners and know how they want to be or like : ). And i really like my english teacher ( in spite of i don't like english) i think that Benjy was a committed with the class always tried to make them less boring to us and thanks for that : ).

I need to improve speaking and listering skills, i think that watching movies in English or videos i youtube it ok for this moment to me, but i want to speak with my sister because she talks english very fluently and with her i don get nervous but know she was to bussy working for to pay her CAE : (
i don't practice to much outside to english class, well ok, i don't practice nothing sometimes i saw videos in english with english subtitle and i learn a lot of vocabulary but most of time i get confused with speaking, and in class also with they saw Isabel Allende interview :(

bye bye to everyone! = )
I hope you enjoy my video of my doggy cachupino

Changes in my study program

Hi everyone,

Know i'm really disappointed with my career but i don't be sorry to studied arts. I always wanted that my teachers were more involved with student's process and they will generate contacts with other study areas ( science, architecture, psychology, publicity, etc) or places likes museums, state archives, gallery to expose ( i never want this last one but i have many schoolmates that really want expose and all these stuff). And it is a little sad to graduate and have to search all of these things alone.

About the curriculum map i always liked that you can choose great variety of workshop like painting, sculpture, ceramic, photography, goldsmithing and others. But i think that it is important have to study travels in the workshops and know about our discipline reality.
And i think that Arts students need more subjects of art theory many times i felt stupid cause i think that teachers of art theory believes that art students are idiots and the don't make us read too much compared to art theory students.
the methods of my Art teachers i think that is fine, specially the fact that the dialogue are symmetrical and that is enriching for student. But as i mentioned the department need more compromise with their students and projection with graduation future of their.
this isn't my case but with medial classes ( digital image, cinematica) are too poor hand over knowledge about programms like photoshop and Premiere.

i think it is pessimistioc blog post but i sorry, this is the theme that teacher choose for this penultimate blog. Always talk about university is a little sad to everyone. = (

            bye bye

independence day vacation

Hi,

Today i'm gonna talk about what i like to do independence day (September 18th) I usually go to my parent's house in Punta Arenas but since 4 years ago i like to go to the house to be owned to my great-grandmother and actually live my grandmother. I love this place because it is so peaceful and have a great weather. it is located in 4th region borders with third region, the town it called Los Choros, (i don't know if any of you that read this know this place but i recommend).
September in my family it is too important because my great-grandmother was born, at September 17th and all family try to go there, we are a big family cause  my great-grandma have 11 children and majority to they has children too, generally the birthday calls to 50 relatives, also in September it is aniversary to a great-uncle and comes his family to La Serena.
But know i think that this year will be too different everything because last year my great-grandma dies a few days to reach 107 years (!!) she was a rude woman and always believe that she was so clever and smart. She keeps her memory until the end of her days. I think that is so interesting the fact that she lives in the same town all her life and everybody in this town are relatives or cousins.
I wanna go this year to accompany my grandmother, this year was complicated to her and also see my family to and be there, there are a lot of family history to there.

There is a pic of the town and another to protest against miner project "Dominga" that want to stablish nearby town (i post this photo to cause is my uncle Lucho with the sign jiji)

postgraduate studies

hi everyone

i don't like too much the idea to study a master but i would like to work in preservation and restoration area and to this i need a master in that. I also like ceramic work and i want to keep this knowledge and learm more about this material like glazes, potter's wheel ( i actually do a course in this but i would like to know more) and studies of the earth specific in this structural and plastic capacity. i'm an enthusiastic to architecture topics like landscape and construction with sun-dried bricks when i studied at UNAM in Mexico i took courses in this area and it was so amazing to me. but i think to going to seminars it's ok to me.
I would like to take a master in other country because i think that Chile is too expensive to study and i saw the curriculum map in my and other universities and isn't interesting to me :/ (sorry uchile) I considerer countries like Peru, México and Spain, and this last have the best curriculum map to me and i think that is too sad  because i believe that Latinoamerica need more studies close up to topics like preservation of patrimonial heritage.
I would like to study full time because you learn more and don't changes the plan. But i would like to have time to study ceramic techniques and also do sport like swimming :)

A Job You Would Like To Do In The Future

Hi everybody,

I want to write about what i like to work in the future. Actually i'm in the last year of my career: Plastic Arts and i do my final project in ceramic. I really like these material but i don't feel like an artist or be a ceramist i don't know. presently i goes  as assitantship to two museums in the conservation and archive area and i like this stuff so much. I really like to work in the preservation and restoration area in the future, specially work in precolumbian ceramic or in paper. I would like to work sometimes outdoor like archaeological digs as indoors like museums or labs. I like this discipline because is too cross-discipline where work together artists, conservators and scientifics to preserve heritage. I don't like to travel a lot o possibly maybe In Latino america and study in places like Mexico again at INAH or another school . I would like to work in my country in ceramic patrimony at the north of Chile in archeological digs in Molle or the new inca city discovered, El Olivar. I believe that is something such amazing and beautiful. I don't think in salary right now i believe that enough to live and have my things that apart from work have a potter's wheel and do jars and things that i like in ceramic. In summary have money to can do ceramic (materials, etc) and live alone. (And also travel to visit to my family)
thanks for read
bye :)

childern of god review

Hi everyone,

Today i would like to talk about the film: Son of god that i saw the last week. I think that it is a interesting movie because talk about issues to the present like LGBTQI problems and what happens with the shape of view to the society, specifically in the Bahamas island. And that is for i liked this movie i think that shows these scenes without pretense and very honestly with the fears to the characters. And is for that my favourite character is Johnny he is just a sensible person who don't want to bother anyone and he is too calm but he really knows where he is located, and that is the kind of stuff that i liked, i think that Johnny was brave like nobody in all film and because of this is a almost cry in the final when Johnny dies : (. But i hope that this tragical end bring courage to other characters of the movie like Romeo. My favourite scene in spite of was too sad is the end when Johnny dies and saw him walking with Romeo because he never be alone again.
And things that i don't like to this film was the character Lena, and yes is true that is necessary on this film but to me was too stressful saw her acting. To me is a kind a strait-laced womanjaja
 and that is all today
thanks for reading bye bye

Film: Ghett'a life

hi everyone

I would like to write about the film Ghett'a life it was a  film about the Jamaican politics and the false morality that they has about to exercise control over the people. I think that i like this movie because talks about a reality of a distant country like Jamaica and i think that is good to watch other visions or know more about that.
Also i like the form was filmed the movie, because is was honest and not like Hollywood's movies that they are too showy to everyone and perhaps it is because the principal scene was a modest village of Jamaica. I don´t like some actings to the characters i think that was a little overreacted. And i don't like the music of a few scenes they was too dramatic and distract me jaja.
My favourite character was the mom of Derrick, Dawn. I think that was a lovely and charming woman that gives all for her family. And always stay side her son and believes in him. And my favourite scene was Gully Rat sacrifice to help Derrick, whe he kill Pon Sin that he was the bad guy to the story. I think that is good final to this movie and also shows the friendship to Gully Rat and Derrick in spite of the political bands.

Thanks for read : )

The best vacation

Since i have 5 years old i always travel with my family to the north of Chile were i was born. it is a big travel because we left from of Punta Arenas. But today i going to  talk about my best vacation (without devalue my family vacations : ( ) In 2017 i travel to Mexico and i live there for a 5 months and the last 7 weeks that i was there i travel to my own for South of Mexico with a big Mexician friend, Victor. First we went to Ciudad de Mexico to Oaxaca de Juarez. In there we went to Monte Alban but we need to travel a town called Mazunte because in there we met with our friend Daniela.
We didn't have money and for that we traveled to town in town and it's was tiring because the first night in Oaxaca de Juarez after visit monte Alban we leave the city in the night to Puerto Escondido in there we stayed a few days because there was a tropical storm. But it was a funny experience because a lot of things like lodgings and food was too cheaply for us. After that we travel to Mazunte we have to take two buses to arrive there. All this places are in the Oaxaca state. We also travel to many states of south like: Chiapas, Tabasco, Campeche and the last state that we were, Yucatan.
we visit many of archeological sites like: Dzibilchaltún, Chichen itzá and Edzna and sinkholes that is like a subterranean lakes and it was amazing for me.
